Notification for phase-2 of polls issued; elections on Dec 2

According to the notification, the last date for filing nomination papers is November 14. The papers will be scrutinized on November 15. Candidates can withdraw their nominations upto November 17.

In the second phase, 18 assembly constituencies, including Gulabgarh, Reasi, Gool Arnas, Udhampur, Chenani (Sc), Ramnagar, Surankote, Mendhar, Poonch Haveli, Karnah, Kupwara, Lolab, Handwara, Langate, Noorabad, Kulgam, Home-Shalibugh and Devsar will go to polls on December 02 from 8am to 4pm.

The counting shall be held on December 23. The election process for the second phase will be completed on December 29.
