Opposition Congress MPs disrupted proceedings in both houses of Parliament again on Friday, demanding resignations of three top BJP leaders over corruption cases. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the Lok Sabha till Monday.

In the Upper House Congress MPs demanded to know what action the ruling BJP has taken against external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who are allegedly involved in corruption scams. While Swaraj and Raje are under fire for helping tainted former IPL chief Lalit Modi, who faces an Enforcement Department probe for alleged money laundering and forex violations, Chouhan is under pressure to quit over the Vyapam admission and recruitment scandal.Amid the din, the monsoon session appears headed for a washout, with both the government and the Opposition showing no signs of budging from their stand.
