When is the best time to visit Bandipur? Is it far from Bengaluru ? Are there any other attractions en route? Also, which is the best resort to stay at while I am there? - Rahul
Bandipur is open throughout the year. But the best season to visit is between August and January. You can visit Muthathi fishing camp, Magadi Fort, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary and Nanjangud temple. If budget is not a constraint, you can stay in Tasker Trails. If you are from Bengaluru and planning for a two-day trip, start on Saturday morning and return by Sunday night.

What are the places to see in Dharamshala? Please help, as we are visiting the next month. - Manasa
Dharamshala is a valley and has the mighty Dhauladhar range on one side. Around Dharamshala lies a pretty hill station, McLeodganj. You can also stay in Naddi, which is some three-four kms away from McLeodganj. Bhagsunag too is also a good walk away from McLeodganj and has one small waterfall and a temple. If you have a few more days, you could always travel to Palampur, which has lovely tea estates and lovely views.
