Shekawat greeted on his 84th birthday

Lt Governor of Puducherry Mukut Mithi and Chief Minister N Rangasamy greeted the Vice President.

Lt Governor of Puducherry Mukut Mithi and Chief Minister N Rangasamy greeted Vice President Bairon Singh Shekawat on his 84th birthday on Monday.
In his message, Mithi said the services of Shekhawat to the country were laudable.

Rangasamy said Shekawat had by his distinguished service raised the status of the country.

"Patriotic zeal and straightforwardness had been his hallmarks," Rangasamy said.
