One TDP activist was killed and two others were injured as Congress and TDP supporters clashed outside a polling booth in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday, police said.

Trouble began over forming of queue before commencement of polling at Pallam village and soon arguments turned into a clash with activists of both parties pelting stones at each other, they said.
Some Congress workers stabbed P Srinu and Palladi Babji of TDP, in which Sriram of Congress was also injured, police said.
Later, Srinu succumbed to injuries while the other injured were admitted to a hospital.
Police officials rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control after which polling, which was stopped for an hour, commenced.
