UAE leaders also said they were satisfied with the continuing development in bilateral ties.
The UAE has backed India's bid for a permanent seat at the UN Security Council and said it was satisfied with the continuing development in bilateral ties.

UAE supported India's move for the permanent seat during a meeting between visiting External Affairs Minister K Natwar Singh and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Monday, official news agency WAM reported.
"The two ministers expressed satisfaction with the continuous development in bilateral relations between the UAE and India and commended the work of the joint commission and the renewed commitment to improve bilateral relations continuously in all fields," the agency quoted a joint statement as saying.
"Within this context, the two ministers agreed on the necessity for an enlargement of the United Nations Security Council and to coordinate their positions accordingly. The UAE expressed its support for India in its objective of obtaining permanent membership of such an enlarged Security Council," the statement said.
