A mutilated body of a young woman was on Friday recovered from a deserted plot in Jaipur, police said.

The woman's face was also charred, they said.

The body was about a week old and stray dogs might have attacked it, Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Shotrai said.

A team of forensic experts have taken samples for tests.
