"The state government has failed to abide by the high court division bench’s order of May 14. So we have to inform the court about this," said a senior official of the SEC.

State election commissioner Mira Pande met senior advocate and the SEC’s counsel Samaraditya Pal on Friday evening, as the tussle with the state government over deployment of central forces and control of district level administrative officers remained unresolved.
