The rain calls for some comfort food, and what sounds better than something warm, gingery, spicy, and soupy? But while looking for a comfort dish, it is also important to keep your macros in check. On August 2, Saloni Kukreja, a food content creator and chef, posted a detailed recipe for making steamed ginger chicken rice.
Sharing the recipe, she wrote, “This might just be the juiciest chicken you’ll make all week. Steamed until perfectly tender and finished with an irresistible ginger and scallion flavour that takes it to the next level.”
The dish comes with a flavourful broth that might warm you up in no time during the monsoons, and it takes just minutes to prepare. Here are all the ingredients and steps needed to make the dish:

Apart from protein, it also contains many energy-boosting nutrients, including riboflavin, niacin (with almost all your daily needs in one serve), pantothenic acid, biotin, B vitamins B6 and B12, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc. In particular, cooked chicken helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
