CBI searches residence of CRPF DIG

The CBI on Tuesday night searched the house of a DIG in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, official sources said.

The CBI tonight searched the house of a DIG in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, official sources said.

CRPF DIG Vinod Kumar Sharma's residence was searched by the CBI in connection with alleged irregularities in recruitment, they said.

The search was conducted by a team of CBI sleuths from Delhi.

CBI officials refused to comment on the search which is currently underway.
