Four people were killed in a road accident on the Mumbai -Pune Expressway on Wednesday morning after the driver lost control of the car.
According to state highway police, the accident happened on Devale bridge at 9.15 am when the car was moving towards Pune.

The actual reason behind the accident could not be ascertained. It is not known if the car was overspeeding or skidded on the wet highway.
Officials informed that four people died on spot while the fifth was grievously injured in the mishap. The police admitted the injured to Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Nigdi. The matter is under investigation.
