Ravo: Semolina (rava) cooked in ghee and garnished with nuts and dried fruits. This is served as breakfast.

Chicken Farcha: The frilly Parsi version of the fried chicken is served as a starter. Marinated chicken fried in a batter of eggs and bread crumbs.

A Sali boti: A thick mutton curry, flavoured with tomatoes, onions, and vinegar. It is topped with fried potato straws.

Patrani Macchi: Fish, usually a white fish like pomfret, stuffed with green coriander paste and steamed in banana leaves.

Pulao: Saffron-flavoured rice, with mutton kebabs on the side and topped with sliced boiled eggs. Parsis in Mumbai get the saffron from the Kashmir Government Arts Emporium in Fort or from relatives visiting Spain or Iran.
