Two grope woman at Mumbai railway station, pass lewd comment, arrested

The Andheri government railway police on Thursday arrested two men for allegedly passing a lewd comment and inappropriately touching a woman at Andheri railway station.

She was on her way to Andheri West after getting down from platform no.3.

The woman’s husband was walking next to her, but the two accused were not aware of it.

As one of the groped her and the other passed a comment, the woman raised an alarm. Commuters caught the duo and handed them over to police.

Anil Devale, assistant police inspector of Andheri GRP, said,”They have been booked under section 354 for molestation. They were granted bail by a magistrate’s court.”
