An unidentified woman jumped in front of a local train at Ghatkopar railway station on June 23, but miraculously escaped unhurt. The video, shared by the government railway police, has gone viral.

Commuters who were on the train and platform are seen waiting for the train to pass, so they can help. But after the train pulls out of the station, the woman is nowhere to be found on the tracks.

GRP officials said she was seen walking off from platform number two in another camera put in the station.

Officials said it seems like a case of attempted suicide and four bogeys of the train went over her, but as she may have escaped unhurt as she got stuck between the tracks.

The woman has not been identified.
