‘Band-O-Best’ involved bands performing covers of popular Bollywood songs. “It is nice to see an event focusing on Indian music,” said judge Meiyang Chang, an ex-Indian Idol finalist.

The fusion music event, ‘Strum to the Dhun’, involved Indian classical songs supported by western instruments. “Their presentation is wonderful, but more emphasis needs to be given on the content rather than ‘being cool’ on stage,” said Leslie Lewis, a judge, member of the Colonial Cousins.
‘That’s how we roll’, a short film-making event, involved interpreting a song into a movie. The theatre event had adaptations of short stories into plays.
