Lapse at airport: CISF blames airline staff

HT reported that the CISF let Gujarat-based Arunesh Nag enter the airport and clear security check on March 8 with a ticket and boarding pass for the next day.

“The Kingfisher staff stamped the boarding pass without checking the date of travel,” said Rohit Katiar, spokesperson, CISF. He claimed that a CISF inspector had stopped Nag at the security hold.

Jitender Negi, deputy inspector general, CISF, who had denied knowledge of the incident, said he would send a report to the CISF headquarters in Delhi.
