There’s one more venue for live music performances. Beginning today, High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel, will have live performances by bands every third Thursday of the month. Bands, The Ungulates and Coshish will perform today.

Ungulates are a six piece Mumbai-based band. Their genre of music seems to be as abstract as the name itself, ranging from jazz/funk, soul blues and rock ‘n’ roll.

Coshish is a four-member Mumbai-based band. The band fuses elements of progressive rock, with the more easily acceptable mainstream song writing styles of Hindi rock.The Musical Thursday event will also have karaoke sessions and workshops in guitar lessons and drums. The event will offer progressive rock, jazz, funk and blues, all in one.
