BHOPAL: Two bike-borne assailants threw acid on a college teacher, identified as Shailja Namdeo, near a bus stop on Saturday morning. The incident took place around 9am in front of the teacher’s house when she was on her way to the polytechnic college, police said. In her statement to the police, the 22-year-old said someone had been following her for three days but she had not paid attention. The State Women Commission has sought a police report in this regard.
