KARNAL: Stressing the need to increase the strength of women in the state police, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said the government had decided to recruit 33% women to fill vacancies in the force. He said that after opening women’s police stations in the state, steps were now being taken to increase the strength of women in police. He also appealed to people to join hands with the government in its drive against female foeticide to improve the sex ratio in the state.
