GAYA: The CoBRA unit of CRPF eliminated seven and not three Maoist squad members during the Saundaha encounter on July 18. Accepting the loss of seven of its cadres, the central Bihar special area committee of the CPI (Maoists) vowed to avenge the killing of their brethren. The Maoists are observing ‘martyrs week’ from Thursday to August 3 to “commemorate their sacrifice” in the jungles of Gaya-Aurangabad border.
