HYDERABAD: Telangana folk festival Bathukamma entered into Guinness World Records on Saturday evening, with as many as 9,292 women participating in the floral festival singing and dancing around Maha Bathukamma, a 20-feet high massive heap of flowers at Lal Bahadur Shastri stadium in Hyderabad. The mega event, held on the ninth day of the floral festival which is unique to Telangana, beat the record created by women of Kerala during Onam in 2015, in which 5,211 women participated.
