AHMEDABAD: A special SIT court on Monday adjourned the hearing in the Gulberg Society case to June 9. In the court of special judge PB Desai hearing over the quantum of punishment for 24 convicts, including 11 charged with murder,in the 2002 post-Godhra Gulberg Society massacre case, had began on Monday. As many as 69 people, including former Congress MP Ehsan Jafri, were killed in this massacre. In the judgement delivered earlier on June 2, 35 persons were acquitted.
