Ed Sheeran's India tour was marked by fun moments apart from his concerts. He performed in six cities across India.

Singer Ed Sheeran, who began his six-city Mathematics Tour to India last month, wrapped it up on Saturday evening in Gurugram. Ed began his India leg of the tour with a concert in Pune on January 30. He then performed in Hyderabad (February 2), Chennai (February 5), Bengaluru (February 8) and Shillong (February 12). During his a little over two week stay, Ed met several artists in India and jammed with them. He also enjoyed several local experiences.

Ed Sheeran, in Pune, took the stage wearing a T-shirt that said 'Pune' celebrating the city, and the crowd erupted in cheers. One of the highlights of the evening was when he paused to express his gratitude. He shared that he has performed twice in India, both times in Mumbai and was excited to bring his music to other cities this time. He also expressed that every visit makes him feel like a tourist exploring India and that he is always grateful for the opportunity to perform for the people of India. Singer-actor Dot, best known for The Archies, opened the India leg of Ed.

During his Chennai concert, Ed Sheeran was joined on stage by legendary composer AR Rahman. The two performed a rendition of the classic song Urvashi. Before the concert, Ed also met AR Rahman and his son AR Ameen. Rahman shared pictures of their meeting on Instagram, where Ed was seen clicking pictures and sitting at Rahman's music console. The caption read, “Photos by Ed Sheeran.”

Ed Sheeran delivered a mesmerising performance in Bengaluru as a part of his - = / x India tour. He was joined by Shilpa Rao during the concert, marking an iconic collaboration as they sang a Telugu song, Chuttamalle, on the stage. However, hours before the concert, Ed suffered a setback during his impromptu performance on Church Street after the Bengaluru Police abruptly stopped his song by plucking out the speaker plugs. The singer responded later, claiming that his team had obtained prior permission to perform in the area.
