Swimming champion Michael Phelps was in conversation with sports writer and journalist Ayaz Memon at Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2019. He spoke about his early experience in swimming. He said. "I started in the water strictly for water safety. My mother said I need to learn swimming. I wanted to get over the fear of water." The theme for this year’s thought conclave is “Conversations for a better tomorrow” and will see political leaders, corporate heads and torchbearers from various fields ideate and debate the issue.
