Photos: From tribal products to vintage cars, Gurugram boasts a wide range of artefacts

Despite being a relatively new city, Gurugram boasts of a wonderful collection of ancient and historical artefacts, from tribal products to vintage cars. HT’s photographer Sanjeev Verma visited the museums and galleries, giving an insight of the places.

The Rewari railway heritage museum was set up in 1893. It is the only surviving steam locomotive shed in India and houses some of country’s last surviving steam locomotives. The world’s oldest still-functional 1855 steam locomotive, Fairy Queen, a tourist train, was restored here.
