Cholesterol levels can increase mainly due to consuming a diet high in saturated fats and trans fats, genetic disorders and lifestyle factors like smoking, sedentary lifestyle, and alcohol. 1. Start your day with omega-3 fatty acids like Chia seeds water, walnuts etc. They contain essential fatty acids that reduce inflammation and improve lipid profile.  (Shutterstock)

2. Have a high-fibre and protein-rich breakfast like oats and besan cheela with grated ghia. This improves LDL or bad cholesterol levels. (Pinterest)
