Hot chocolate: The beverage is quite in demand this season as foodies, specifically chocoholics love to indulge in the goodness of hot chocolate to warm up their winter evenings. "Right on top of the list as it’s my favourite midnight snack and my weakness too. I use two or three squares of dark chocolate and melt them in hot milk. There's no harm in adding a little dark chocolate to your diet," says Chef Kunal Kapur.(Pixabay)

Pumpkin soup: Pumpkins are loaded with nutrients and can be used to rustle up the perfect winter soup. Besides being packed with vitamins and minerals, pumpkin is also relatively low in calories, as it’s 94% water. The high antioxidant level in pumpkin can keep many chronic diseases at bay. "This soup is easy to make and doesn’t necessarily need to be laden with cream, as just the taste of roasted pumpkin tantalises the taste buds enough," writes Kapur.(Pixabay)
