PCOS is a condition where the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of Androgen leading to cyst formation in the ovaries. This further leads to menstrual irregularity, acne formation, obesity and mood swings. With healthy dietary changes and lifestyle changes, PCOS symptoms can be managed. However, alcohol can worsen the symptoms. "Moderation is key in a healthy lifestyle, especially in your PCOS journey! And cutting it out for 30 days and reintroducing it back into your lifestyle can help you better figure out how much you can tolerate before triggering your symptoms," wrote Dietitian Tallene Hacatoryan.
