When we have a harsh inner critic, it can make us feel that we are not good enough. The constant negativity that we inflict on ourselves can harm our self-confidence and self-trust. It can make us judge ourselves all the time. "Self-criticism refers to the habit of being excessively hard on oneself, often focusing on perceived flaws, mistakes, or shortcomings. This inner critic can be relentless and demanding, leading to feelings of inadequacy, low self-esteem, and even depression or anxiety," wrote Therapist Andrea Evgeniou.(Unsplash)
