When we have a harsh inner critic, it can make us feel that we are not good enough. The constant negativity that we inflict on ourselves can harm our self-confidence and self-trust. It can make us judge ourselves all the time. "Self-criticism refers to the habit of being excessively hard on oneself, often focusing on perceived flaws, mistakes, or shortcomings.
