Skateboarding in India has been confined to a very close-knit community. States like Bangalore and Goa have more than one skateparks while other parts of India are now starting to catch up.
Recently, a film was also released on the OTT platform Netflix titled 'Skater Girl' which is about a teen girl from rural India discovering a life-changing passion for skateboarding.
