Photos: Heavy snow in Germany reigns in coldest February since 2012
Parts of central and northern Europe as well as Germany have been gripped by a cold weather front since the weekend. Heavy snowfall tangled traffic and stranded drivers in Germany with some parts blanketed in as much as 50 centimetres of snow earlier in the week. Blizzard-like conditions have left Germany with some of the coldest temperatures experienced in almost a decade for this time of the year.
