Photos: India’s Covid-19 tally surges to over 20 million
On May 4, India reported 357,229 new cases of the coroanvirus disease (Covid-19), pushing the infection tally past the 20-million mark. India's deadly second wave of infections, the world's biggest surge in coronavirus infections, has seen it take just over four months to add 10 million cases, versus the more than 10 months for its first 10 million. The country's cumulative case count has now reached 20,282,833.
