Officials stated that on Monday, additional paramilitary forces were deployed in Banbhoolpura, the town's area where violence erupted last week following the demolition of an "illegally built" madrasa. (PTI)
The curfew has been lifted in the rest of Haldwani except the Banbhoolpura area, after which the administration has started streamlining the essential services, the officials said. (PTI)
