Rail Roko impact in pics: Farmers occupy train tracks, services hit
The Rail Roko protests called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of many farmer unions, is underway across the country from 10am. Farmers occupied the railway tracks protesting the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in many parts of Punjab and Haryana. Earlier, a Northern Railway official said that 30 locations were affected and eight trains were regulated in the northern railway zone due to the protests.
