Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) just about managed to keep themselves in the race for the playoffs in the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a five-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk Stadium. It was the first time that CSK lost to SRH at home and it has put them on the brink of elimination. (AFP)

CSK brought in Dewald Brevis for this game in place and the young South African turned out to be a saviour for them. They lost a wicket off the very first ball and went on to lose three wickets in the powerplay. Brevis, however, was threatening to turn it around in favour of CSK. (PTI)
