England beat Tunisia 2-1 in their opening FIFA World Cup 2018 Group G game thanks to an injury-time header from Harry Kane. Kane had opened the scoring in the first half before Tunisia drew level through a contested Ferjani Sassi penalty and England struggled until Kane's late header. The Tottenham frontman led from the front and popped up to his team’s rescue just when it seemed a draw was likely. The win puts the England national football team in second place in Group G, with Belgium leading the table on goal difference. England will next take on Panama while Belgium will face off against Tunisia.
