Five-vehicle pile-up at Kondhwa leaves no casualty, affects traffic

According to the Kondhwa traffic division officials, the container carrying steel had a head-on collision with a car coming from the opposite direction and heading towards Kondhwa. Soon, four other cars hit the first car and piled up.

A vehicle pile-up involving a container truck and cars near Tilekarnagar on the Katraj-Kondhwa road around 11 am on Tuesday blocked the traffic for 30 minutes.

No casualty was reported in the five car pile-up. Crane was put into service to rescue the victims from the mangled remains of the vehicles, police said.
