Pune-Bengaluru GoAir flight delayed by an hour, passengers stuck at Lohegaon International Airport

The Pune-Bengaluru GoAir flight G8 293 was delayed by an hour owing to the late arrival of an incoming aircraft. The flight which was bound to take off at 2.51 am, departed an hour late.

Yet another incident of flight delay at the Lohegaon International Airport in Pune left a few passengers annoyed on May 28.

Irked by the delay, Swapnil Saykar, who was travelling in the flight, said, “The flight delay made us stay awake the entire night at the airport.”

Accusing the airlines of consistent flight delays, he said, “GoAir has a bad track record for this flight. Why don’t they take into account the delay while asking customers to book the flight? We could have chosen alternatives,” said Saykar.

However, responding to the complaints, official spokesperson of GoAir, said, “We regret the delay in response and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.Flight G8 293 was delayed due to the late arrival of an incoming flight. We hope to serve our passengers better on our future travels.”
