Pune Metro work has begun from Pimpri to Dapodi as well as in Vanaz in Kothrud. The work is going on at good pace on the first route on Mumbai-Pune Road (NH4), where Pimpri and Dapodi areas have been barricaded till Nashik Phata. To avoid traffic congestion which will cause inconvenience to citizens, Pune Metro has released a traffic diversion plan for that area prepared by College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) and approved by traffic authorities.
