Twenty-year-old Pune woman claims she gave birth in November after being raped by two men in March

In early March 2017, the girl claimed to have been kidnapped by two men in a car. After one of the men pressed a piece of cloth against her mouth, she then lost consciousness and claims that she was lying under the railway bridge near Akurdi railway station with her clothes tattered when she woke up.

The Nigdi police have booked two persons for allegedly raping a 20-year-old woman. The woman, in her complaint, has alleged that she was raped by two unidentified people in the month of March. A case under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered based on her complaint on Tuesday night.

A case under Section 376, 363 and 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) was also registered against the two unidentified people at Nigdi police station. The case is being investigated by police sub-inspector (PSI) Prakash V More of Nigdi police station.

"The complainant walked in with a social worker named Jyoti Pathan and narrated the incident. We filed a case on Tuesday night," PSI More said.
