Two Pune youth booked for filming minor girls in Khadki

Police inspector (crime) Ajit Lanke said that the FIR mentions the names of the two boys and forensic investigation into the case has revealed that they have committed the crime. “We have gathered the evidence against them and are on the lookout for the suspects. We will arrest them soon,” he said.

Khadki police have booked two youths in connection with clicking nude pictures of two minor girls having bath. The FIR against the suspects was registered after a victim overheard the conversation of one of the suspects regarding clicking of their pictures while having bath, police said. The police have sent teams to nab the suspects who are said to have fled after the incident was reported to the police.

Similar cases in the past

Hinjewadi police had arrested Kundan Ashte on the charges of filming his neighbour couple’s intimate moments using a selfie stick. An FIR was lodged against him on November 24, 2017 by the couple. Ashte had also sent a few clips of the private moments to the woman and demanded sexual favours from her. He was booked under Sections 354(c) of the IPC and Section 66 E of the Information Technology Act.
