Chandan Arora, father of four-year-old Aarush Arora who was crushed to death by his school bus, alleged that city police were dilly- dallying in registering a case against the management of Innocent Hearts School and had only arrested the driver and the conductor.
Arora said ACP (central) DD Sharma had called him on Saturday regarding the complaint given by him against the school but all he got were assurances. Arora said the city police registered a case against a film director for his comment on Lord Ganesha on the complaint of a BJP leader, but they were not ready to register an FIR in a case where he had lost his son. He added that the attitude reflected that nobody cares about anyone's life.
Arora, along with family members and Congress leaders, had met police commissioner Yurinder Singh Hayer who referred them to ACP central who had sought 24 hours to answer their complaint.
Arora said they had given reference of an FIR registered against the management of Akal Academy School where 13 children in the 4-10 years age group were killed when a private van in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck on the Jalandhar-Nakodar road in March 2013.
"Instead of giving justice, the city police have forced me to run from pillar to post," Arora said, adding the police were not interested in taking action against the school.

{{/usCountry}}He claimed the police had issued orders under Section 144 of the CrPC that school buses could not move on roads without a valid permit, the driver needed a valid licence and vehicles should not run overloaded, but the law was not being followed.
