Three days after the death of orchestra artiste Kulwinder Kaur, who was shot dead during a marriage function in Maur, artistes of different orchestra groups held a candle march on Tuesday to demand an end to weapon culture in marriages.

They were protesting under the banner of Virasat Kala Kendra Manch.
The march started from the Children’s Park and passed through various market places. President of the group Ramandeep Singh Manga, said, “Strict measures should be introduced to stop the culture of celebratory firing during weddings.”
