Former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday hit out at leader of Opposition and INLD MLA Abhay Chautala for allegedly siding with the Punjab government over the nomenclature of the Chandigarh international airport.

Referring to Haryana’s objections to Punjab calling it Mohali international airport , Abhay had recently commented that the airport was Punjab property and the neighbouring state could give its any name.
Addressing a press conference at his residence here, he said, “Abhay should apologise to the people of the state for his comments. The real face of INLD has been exposed before the people,” Hooda said while adding that Chandigarh belonged to Haryana.
Hooda also lashed out at the BJP government and demanded that the report of the Dhingra panel, which went into alleged murky land deals in Gurgaon, be made public.
“The BJP is attacking others to hide its own faults,” he said.
