Girls unfurl Tricolor in 36 Sirsa villages in Haryana

In a unique initiative, the Sirsa administration gave the honour of unfurling the Tricolour on the Independence Day to girls in 36 village of the district on Saturday.

In a unique initiative, the Sirsa administration gave the honour of unfurling the Tricolour on the Independence Day to girls in 36 village of the district on Saturday.

The most educated girls in the villages got the opportunity to do the honours in these schools.

For instance, Kiran Bala and Pooja Sharma, both MPhil, unfurled the national flag at the government girls' primary and government secondary school in Meerpur village respectively.

Similarly, Radhika, MA, unfurled the Tricolor at the SS Jain girls senior secondary school at Sirsa, Anju Bala, a graduate at Shekhupuriya village, Shiwani at the government secondary school at Dhani village, Preeti at government secondary school at Nejiakhera.
