I-T teams raid ice-cream parlour, clothing showroom in Jalandhar

Three teams of Income Tax department conducted surveys at Ceramica ice-cream parlor near Hind Samachar Garden and Sohan Lal & Sons, a clothing showroom in Jalandhar cantonment on Thursday evening.

Income Tax deputy commissioner Kulwinder Kaur, joint commissioner AN Mishra, and others led the survey. The department had an information over hiding of income by these establishments.

The team accompanied by police personnel were conducting survey inside premises of both establishments till filing of this report. The sources said survey was a routine job of a department and more such surveys would be conducted in the coming days.
