Indian government should ensure safety of Sikhs in world, BSP MP Karimpuri

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Rajya Sabha member parliament (MP), Avtar Singh Karimpuri has raised the issues of racial attacks on Sikhs during zero hour in Rajya Sabha on Monday.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Rajya Sabha member parliament (MP), Avtar Singh Karimpuri has raised the issues of racial attacks on Sikhs during zero hour in Rajya Sabha on Monday.

He appealed the Indian government to take necessary step to ensure the safety of Sikhs in the foreign countries.

He further said that few days ago Sandeep Singh (29), Sikh youth was attacked in New York City and another Sikh youth and his mother both were attacked in New York.

In same way one Sikh was stabbed to death in Auckland, New Zealand as well which is concerning and government should need to make appropriate steps for the security of NRI Sikhs in foreign courtiers on priority.

Similar kind of racial attacked was also carried on Sikhs in other countries as well.

He appeals to centre government in assembly to hold dialogue with the countries where Sikhs have been facing such kind of attacks

MP further said that Indian embassies should also play pro active role in these matters so prevent this kind of trend.
