A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by four unidentified persons at Pandori Ran Singh village, 20 km from Tarn Taran.
Police have registered a case against unidentified persons under Sections 363, 366, 376 and 34 of the IPC at Chabhal police station.
SHO Chander Bhushan said that 15-year-old victim claimed that she was kidnapped by the four unidentified persons from her house on Monday night, taken to a field and gang-raped.
The girl managed to escape from their custody and told her parents about the crime after reaching home.
Tarn Taran DSP Daljit Singh Dhillon said that the police were trying to trace out the accused and were working on different theories.
