Pakhowal Road: investors' new found love

Once an isolated place, Pakhowal Road has suddenly become the favourite spot for big housing projects and commercial establishments. More and more people from the working class are buying plots in the area mainly because its proximity to the railway station, bus stand, hotels, restaurants, coffee houses and clubs. The central location of the area has also fascinated several business establishments and realty developers to the place.

More and more people from the working class are buying plots in the area mainly because its proximity to the railway station, bus stand, hotels, restaurants, coffee houses and clubs. The central location of the area has also fascinated several business establishments and realty developers to the place.

The footballs in restaurants, coffee, cafes is increasing day by day.

Realty firm MCL is developing a big indoor sports stadium on 13,000 square metre area in the area. Earth Group, a Delhi-based real estate group, is planning a large township on the road.

Vikas Gupta, joint managing director, Earth Group, says, "We have observed that Ludhiana residents prefer to live in an open and spacious area, Which should also be centrally located. That's why people are investing in and around Pakhowal Road."
