Seven killed, 7 injured in SUV-truck collision in Mansa

According to the police, the victims were on their way to Gogamedi, a religious village in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan.

A collision between an Innova car and a truck has left seven dead and seven injured near Bhikhi town in Mansa on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police, the victims were on their way to Gogamedi, a religious village in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan.

The dead includes two women, two kids and three men. The police has so far been unable to ascertain the identity of the victims, who hailed from Kansal village in SAS Nagar.

“We are yet to trace and ascertain the identity of the victims. As of now we can only say that 14 people were travelling in the Innova when the collision with a truck left seven people dead. Two people have been referred to Patiala while the rest are stable and admitted in Mansa civil hospital,” said Gurney Singh, the investigating officer.
